Once, when the Earth was burdened with negative karmas and ignorance spread everywhere, Lord Shiva took the fierce form of Kalagni Rudra—the Fire of Time—to destroy impurities and restore dharma. After the cosmic cleansing, a few tears from Shiva’s compassionate eyes fell on Earth. From these divine tears grew sacred Rudraksha trees. Among them, the Panchmukhi Rudraksha emerged as the embodiment of knowledge, peace, and purification.
